Sustainability & Our Green Plan
We pride ourselves on being a sustainable establishment, offering electric car charging through the use of solar power, as well as harvesting rain water.
In the past four years we have planted 1500 trees, and aim to plant much more year on year. We care about our waste, so we have a wormery and composting system for our coffee beans and food waste.
We also try to promote cycling to work to our staff. This puts our secure cycle shelter to good use, for both staff and customers.
Electric Car Charging
For our electric car driving visitors, we have 6 x 7kw fast Electric fast charging points on site. All our car charging stations run on solar power generated by the various solar panels on our farm.
Feel free to charge your electric car while you visit Penelope’s, Crazy Club or the campsite.
Secure Bike Shelter
We always encourage you to travel as eco friendly as possible!
That’s why we have installed a secure bike shelter to be able to leave your bicycles without having to worry about them getting wet.
